My horse is such a muppet! Anybody else's horse do this when sedated?

Today Colin was sedated for the EDT. It took 2 shots of sedative to get him quiet enough to get his teeth done ! Teeth all done I heard a bit of a crash in his stable and found him like this

He wasn't getting up or lying down, he was just 'stood' like this, and stayed like it for over a minute before standing back up. Me, the EDT and the vet were in hysterics laughing at him. None of us had ever seen a horse do that before! Silly horse :o!

Nawww Snowy has fallen flat on his face but got back up within a few seconds (vet also laughing) but never seen them just rest like that though! Its quite cute though, he was just gathering his bearings before attempting to stand up again :p

awww thats sad, poor lad, when my mare was heavily sedated to have a wound stiched me and my hubby were literally holding her up so she didn't fall, maybe he needed something to lean on, hope he didn't hurt his knees.

He didn't fall, he got down as if to lay down, and then seemed to change his mind! He was wandering round his stable fine, if a little drunkenly (is that a word??). Sedatives don't seem to have a huge effect on him!
