My horse isn't for me?

Okay, so to clear things up, I'm 22 and I've been riding horses for 11 years, competing in dressage with not just my own horse, but friends' horses and also young horses. The horse we're talking about is not my first horse, and certainly not the first mare I've ridden. As for my english, as you can probably tell, it's not my first language, I'm not from England, so I'm really sorry for any mistakes I made, I try my best and I'd appreciate if didn't judge me by my english.

Okay, so about the half price issue: The horse's previus owner was a trainer at a professional stables, but got into an argument with the owner, so he had to move. But the barn he was going to move to was smaller and he couldn't take all of the horses with him. He needed to move asap, so he tried to sell some of his horses before moving.

Like I said, a lameness work up had been done, and a physiotherapist had also seen my horse.
Her ovaries have been scanned, and the vet saw that while she was already on her period, the next egg cell was already growing, and pretty much ready... He said that it can be caused by the crazy weird weather that we had going on at home, and that this weather messes with a lot of horses. He also said that he would give her anything in order to mess with her hormons just yet, but would wait it out, because it might be temporary.
But I will scedule an appointment with another vet too.

Thanks to everybody who was able to give me polite answers. Trust me, I don't want to see my horse in pain, and we did call a vet immadiately we thought something was wrong. Also my trainer loves horses, and is a very competent rider, she would never cause any pain on purpose and she's always the first one to suggest a vet if something is wrong. We are really trying our best here, so I'd ask you not to be rude about it. Thanks :)

Dont get too worked up about Cortez,s comment ,Its a language thing . The Irish are often pretty direct but mean no harm . We have all been duped at some time by a dealer . This may or may not be the case here. But it is a possibility. Let me tell you a little about my own horse Bob . After 4 hard years of basic schooling during which I was convinced that my horse must have all sorts of problems .Hell, Ive been riding for 50 years why cant i\ get a tune out of this horse? I fortunately found a trainer who understood that he was the exception to the norm, and treated him accordingly. We worked from basics . Scales of training , getting the walk straight and so on . Turns out that because he is extremely sensitive ,unless you ride him like carl Hester he will give nothing ,but get it right and he is Boblegro.
 
Knee odd is not your first language your English is fantastic !

Just one thing - mares are 'in season' not on a period, which gives a very different picture 😂

Has your vet suggested abute trial to rule out pain? That won't rule out back pain and I would be tempted to get a set of spine x rays just in case.

Huh? Do I live in a parallel universe where its rude to refer to someone asking for advice as having an 'empty head'?, Cant believe the likes and agreement that comment seems to have gained, whether you agree or not with the path the OP has taken she has came on here for advice not to be made to be made to feel stupid.

Cortez is a very experienced horse professional who has taken on other people's wrecks and sorted them out multiple times including fixing long term lameness issues. I guess that those of us who have been on the forum for ages know this and also know their style of posting (may sound a bit blunt, but actually comes from a knowledgeable place with a kind intent) so it comes across in a different way.

That is one of the issues with reading the written word, you can read the same words as were written, but put a different feeling to them from what was intended. I have no doubt the my posts have been thought of as being harsh too, but I promise you I wrote everything with the intention of being helpful to the OP and their horse (who I still feel is the one getting the truly raw deal in this situation).
 
I bet you any money if you x-rayed her back or hocks something would show, to stand and buck isn't normal. Could even be ulcers, only a professional would know. My gelding use to be lazy, I advertised him as we didn't click but he'd walk slowly, not buck.. he was young and green and after a vet check its been put down to greeness and hes now a different horse.

I'd go to the vet, maybe she is right for you and she is telling YOU she is uncomfortable and you're the only one listening. :)

Unless the rider shes good for is considerably less in weight than you? It doesn't make sense.
