My horse kicked a dog this morning...

It never ceases to amaze me how horse owners can control 600kg + of horse yet dog owners regularly fail to control and train their dogs to behave in public, despite that wonderful invention - the dog lead.

Clearly the man's own fault - he was responsible for his animal and his negligence in failing to control it led to the accident.

sympathies as not a nice experience

Had this on several occassions and the amount of times I get the response "It's ok the dog is used to horses" to which I respond and say that's fine but Pidge will kick it if it gets close as he hates dogs! Can't believe the attitude of some people

Pidge actually rears and comes down bang with his front legs to get dogs if they come too close, scary to watch

Thank you very much for that. I did try and say to him she should've been on a lead as it was a bridle way, but he said something about the blame culture of today.

I have not heard from him as yet.

Thanks

Would like to let you all know that have just heard from the dog owner, dog is fine, apart from having to have a tooth out. He also said he should've asked if i was ok.
