I'm sure she's not got a goat hidden in her straw but I am concerned whw her stable smells like a goat shed.

Horse is 32. Mild cushings. Arthritis, previous pymetra in remission, kidney failure treated to vets satisfaction with milk thistle. I have her in on rations during day to watch her weight as too heavy and her joints hurt more. Her stable smells of goat.

It's actually concerning me. I've had her forever (since I was a 'kid' if u pardon the expression) and love her to bits. I'm not expecting her to try this winter. She looks fit and well on the outside but the inside is failing and I don't want her to suffer

So. The big question is whw does my old dear smell like goat? Thank you. Orange aero bubbles for taking time to read.

No idea either, when you say goat I seem to instantly think of yeasty smeall?? Could her urine be smelling yeasty?? or pyo, have a sniff around your mare too! X
