This is his party trick, whenever he's lying down instead of getting up the whole way he sits on his bum, sometimes for half an hour before he finally gets up!

Just though other people might like to see him in all his weirdness, one of my favourite pictures ever!
 
Haha, I love it! I had a friend whose horse did that too!

I tell my horse to "sit" instead of using "stand", which is a carryover from my YO and good friend, but I don't expect him to actually DO so! ;)
 
That is a fab pic, I knew a horse who used to do this, but not quite as well as yours!
He used to roll, sit up like a dog, roll on the other side, sit there for a few mins then haul himself up haha!
 
SchmellyEm you're not in Bucks are you? Thought I recognised that water tower ;)

Hilarious pony - my old mare used to do this and graze in this position too! Lazy ponies ;)

Nope, Wiltshire! Yep, he does that too, and then he wonders why he has to come in during the day off the grass - he spends his whole time lying/sitting down and eating at the same time!

Our foal from a few years ago. Laziest thing I ever met. It used to shout to mum when it was hungry and mum would come trundling over and she would sit like that to suckle, so she didnt have to get up! Never known anything like it.

She's still pretty laid back to be honest!

Oh my god that is the best thing ever :L shes so cute! glad mines not the only strange one out there, lazy beasts!
 
Oh how gorgeous definately would frame the 1st one looks like your both having a good old natter sat together like that lol.

All the others are just as crazy, love them :) :)

My old lad used to eat laying down lol

lol, just about to ask that, shockingly familiar!

My pony did that yesterday, rolled with lots of effort teh fat little thing, and then just sat for a minute, looked around and heeaved himself up. silly creatures!
 
Hahaha, sorry I just have to say something about your horse....that is soooo cute and made me smile, thank you for making my day! Don't moan about her, be grateful she brings a lot of smiles and laughter to people! :D
