I took my 7 yr old, fit horse to a small xc course on Friday to do a bit of schooling. Just did the little jumps as she's just learning and didn't do anything too demanding. All was fine, hacked there and back. Horse was sound and full of energy. Saturday morning, her pelvis is clicking each time she moves her hind legs in walk and trot! It's pretty loud too! She's not lame at all, doesn't seem stiff, has had a massage and didn't object to me pressing her pelvic or back area she's also happy to let me pull and stretch her legs in all ways possible! but this clicking sounds horrible... Has anyone experienced this before? As she's not in pain, I'll giver her a few days rest to see if it resolves itself, if not, I'll speak with my vet.

If she's not lame or stiff and happy for you to move her legs in all ways, then I'd be inclined to say that nothing's been strained.
But do get the vet out if it doesn't stop in a few days and you're still worried :)
