as he's been moulting loads, i used my shedding blade on him. he's very sensitive and tickly, so i was very gentle with it. but when i was doing his withers and shoulders, he started to yawn like crazy!! great big ones, and then when i did his other side, he did it again!!! yawning is stress relief isnt it? does anyone else's neddy do this when being groomer?

My horse likes to groom me whilst I groom him.

If he has itchy back legs, he cocks a back leg up and I have to go and scratch it for him. If I ignore him, he backs into me as a subtle hint.

Ron yawns all the time... and he's the least stressed horse I know! sleepy maybe but not stressed!

when I use the shedding comb on Ron he makes what we call wibble face (as in Nither wibbling!), and if Tom is loose and sees it he comes over and tries to get in on the act!

Tom will reverse into anything that looks like it might stand still long enough to scratch his hocks on it!! I went out the other day to find a que of walkers at the stile cos his big ar*e was in the way and he was scratching his hocks on it like nobody's business.

you'd think he has mites but no feather, and no skin problems! just itchy!
