I am new here i thought i would show you my dogs..

Gosh they are so beautiful!

People are weird! Our GSD wears a halter type lead because he pulls on the normal one and everyone asks us if he is dangerous! I once took the black German Spitz to a display and a kid kept following me asking "Is it a bear?"
 
Lovely!! I have 6 huskies and a Collie. All are worked in harness....including the Collie! It's great fun. Yours are old enough to run now. Generally they are introduced (very very gradually ie 100 yards) from 6 months onwards. They don't need teaching other than the commands for the turns....it comes naturally!!!
 
They are gorgeous looking dogs, I love that red colour. I have quite a weakness for all the sled breeds. When I was a teenager we rescued a Malamute from an unsuitable home, would have loved to have kept him but at the time had about 20 GSDs so were at capacity! Have never forgotten him.
