Tinks my mare keeps bullying SWA my wimpish gelding and nicking his food (even with me there) & i ended up having to put her on a lead to feed them, meaning i cant poo pick whilst they eat.
they live out 24/7 & we currently only have one paddock fenced off so moving her out wasnt an easy option any way, our neighbours are having an extention built & the roof apex's were installed this week & the pallets they arrived on were stacked by the house & i asked if i could have them, they have 4 slatted rails lengthways (8ft long) both sides & 3 internal solid posts (4ft long)

so they now have 2 pallets sticking out from the fence 10 feet apart & a pallet fixed from them creating outdoor pens that are 10ft by 8ft ach with a rail that slips inside & stop them wandering, used last night & again this morning & was able to poo pick whilst they ate.
im really impressed my improvisation worked, God at this rate i might manage to become a DIY expert! lol

My OH has fenced my sandschool with 8' pallets, we couldn't put posts in the ground as where the original fence wasn't maintained by the previous owners it had gradually collapsed and the post holes had filled with the hardcore. So he built triangular supports which go behind the fence. Looks really smart!

baling twine is a life saver for many things i would never ever tie my horse with it again. it didnt break when he got upset and nearly got him killed :(
