My Italian Stallion arrived today!

Well he is a gelding really but still a complete stud muffin!
and looking surprisingly perky considering the long journey from Italy to my yard

I have to try saddles on him tomorrow so will hopefully get some ridden ones and some of him enjoying his field.
 
Never stops amazing me how well they travel. took a horse from ireland once round to france for a competition by ferry as couldn't get flights and it was about 20 hours travelling all told and she was as good as gold. Looks nice boy too!

thanks guys, glad you all think he is smexy too.

His full name is fury la fontaine (sp?) and we call him fury which is odd because he is such a sweet man.

they are Popadom's stables, I have to rent a couple from her

at a yard i used to ride at they had a very sweet horse named Fury... over the years, it changed to Furry, and then to Fuzzy!

Is this the horse where someone from yard came on and said he needed home quick and posted pic? What a great end to that story if it is.
 
yes it is I just looked it up. This is a nice story and he looks a beaut. Looks a really nice sort. Good luck, I mean it, hope you guys have lots of fun. Cracking stable too for him. I guess it will only be the weather he will miss. Like me too! and i got used to it here pretty quick.
