'Jump back into ring' particularly made me laugh as I have actually jumped out of one!
During a flatwork lesson I was trotting up the centre line and my horse decided that dressage was very boring so he jumped the 5 bar gate out the arena . I had no warning, he popped the gate out of a lovely collected trot. Instructor was watching open mouthed. I don't think there was any malice involved he just thought that was what I wanted him to do.
My first horse jumped out of the ring twice - in a prix caprilli test, which used to have caveletti jumps as part of the test. She just thought the boards were obviously part of a double and went through on three strides - then same again on the other rein. We didn't win! She became a great showjumper though!
