More so when it's wet and cold.. when I work late shifts, all his jobs are done before he comes in, so he expects his haynets full, tea in his food bowl, and to go straight in.. perfectly acceptable as it's his routine.
He behaves for me (99% of the time), though rarely gets very excited at the prospect of stuffing his face, only last week he was trotting light in the hand, tossing his head about. With other people (Yo,other liveries) he gets bolshy, and a bit much, but albeit, they accept it's just him being over excited at the prospect of eating.
I explained today, that if he goes well for me, it's hard to get him to do the same for others, as they are the ones who need to be consistent when handling him, and give him no opportunities for naughtiness..
He's a happy horse, who loves to be at the front of a hack, and likes my company. I class him as a one owner horse, who respects me, but likes to push the boundaries with others.
Sorry a bit of a pointless thread, but shows Cobs can be just as exciting as a TB, or warmblood
