My Libra Treeless arrived..

I've got my treeless saddle, the polypad will look ridiculously long and my other pad isn't here yet but it does have built in panels so I will have a ride today just to see and then wait for the other pad to arrive.
Quite excited, fingers crossed this doesn't rub etc.

Do they have to be placed on the horse differently or do they sit where a conventional treed saddle would ?

Not sure about the liberty ones, but I have a treeless. I just put mine where a treed one would sit. As long as it doesn't go over the final rib along the back it should be fine. Hope it works for you!

I did not have a libra, but had a very nice treeless a few years ago. I am toying with the idea of getting another....

tried it on her and let the saddle sit where it wanted..i am still awaiting a pad so my little brother who weighs nothing got on and had a sit. didn't move, pony seemed happy and it's very light. Seemed a bit long and she had some dust marks at the back after (but i hadn't brushed her!)
Will see how i like it when i ride and maybe post a couple piccies.

Not sure how much to tighten the dressage girth? should it be hard to pull out? girth was snug under her belly and fitted round her shape very nicely.
