Previously I have posted about my youngster whom I bought when he was roughly 6mo.

Each year, around his birthday, I try to get good conformation photos of him, just to follow his progress and look back at later on. From a foal to a yearling, from that to being an awkward teenager... This year I looked at the photos and realised that I barely recognise my cute little greenie! How he has grown and what a horse he is becoming!

Off to shed a little tear of parently pride. :)

Oooo...I'm sure I've seen him in an advert!
I hope there will never be a time in my life when I have to write an advert for him. :D He's quite spicy and spooky at some moments, but at the same time all that I have ever wished for in a horse!

He could be a Lloyd's Bank horse, lol!
Seriously though, he's gorgeous!
I had to look this up, as I am not from the UK - thanks, I bet he would love to be a Lloyd's Bank horse - he desires to be paid for just existing and being cute, lol :D

Thanks! I did the most reasonable thing one could do with a youngster - taught him to rear. :D

/For those concerned - my older gelding is a trained stunt/trick horse, and the little one is going to follow in his footsteps. As he already showed a great natural talent for rearing (lol), I decided to just put a cue on it./

I thought I remembered that he had unusual being resulting in his striking looks, so I looked up your first post about him. He's a bit of a stunner!

Captain is a mix between a Saxon-Thuringian Heavy Warmblood and a Latvian Heavy/Carriage Warmblood.

Thank you for taking time to recover this bit of information. :) I am very glad he is taking more after his sire than his dam, who, being a very true-to-the-type oldschool Latvian, is a bit too short-legged and long-backed for my liking. She is still a very nice mare and with a lovely temperament + great hooves!
