Herding naughty ponies back in the right direction!
My son’s pony was having a 5yo moment about the stubble fields today, and I didn’t feel like waiting ten minutes for them to argue it out - so NF mare and I set out to herd them back onto the path. She LOVED it, nipped back and forth to cut him off, rose to the challenge when he slammed the brakes on to get behind her and had a whale of a time. Less than 5 mins of fun in total but even in that short time she came alive, actively helping me and not just responding to my aids. Shame it’s not a discipline we can compete at, she’d be so happy!
