Just to let you guys know,the herd seem to be settling a little....great stuff this morning as they were all in shelter away from flies together,al little scowling but no fighting,and no marks on them which is great.
My 2 friends came up just after lunch..I called the 3 of them and they came straight to gate. I lead the 2 little ones and my friends walked one side beside Angel (new one). She walked down fine,but keen not to be too far behind other 2. We popped them each in their stables where new girlie went into a bitof a panic. Suppose she thought she was being left again! I got my in foal mare out(well hopefully) and tied her up outside Angels stable so she could see her to keep her calm....it worked!
Little bit of individual fuss of each and then we lead back up to field,we kept 2 little ones in front again and Angel was a little more on her toes but did nout wrong
We made sure we took them a little bit apart when we let them go so as if there was chaos we could get out the way.....nothing happened!!
I know I probably sound daft,but I really want to be self sufficient again see,so appreciate the support of others for the time being....
