Things are going much better with my loan horsey. She so far hasn't put a foot wrong and I am growing more confident with her each day

Oh thats great news. I was just the same a year ago. I finally found a suitable new horse after having lost my confidence and being stamped on and I was just like you, take one day at a time and before you know it you will be well away.
I am now back jumping BSJA when I was a nervous wreck over a cross pole - all thanks to my lovely horse who has been worth her weight in gold for me
