I can't believe so many people don't like cockers! He has been nearly perfect. He has NEVER weed on the floor

, even when we got him at 6 weeks. He does bark, but not much, probably about 2 things set him off a day. He is great around the yard, and loves his agility. He has never been greedy!

He is, however, led by his nose and if he gets on a smell, he won't come back, but if you keep his attention he is great!

From Rara, a cocker spaniel fan!

I love them too having been brought up with them. My mum used to breed and show them. We never had any problems house-training them either. As to vocal - compared to my vizslas they are definately a lot quieter - you don't know what a noisy dogs like til you've had a vizzie! Mums were/are always of perfect temperament (although sadly I have to say I've met a few dodgy ones too). When we were kids we used to do agility with ours too and certainly capable of doing obediance too. Have to say most of ours have been gannets and ruled by their stomachs so there is some truth in that at least!
BTW I love your dogs curly hair-do.
