She is soo sweet...... bless her...

Another lurcher which looks very greyhound-like - I had a hard job persuading the vet that Talisker (pics below somewhere
smile.gif
) was a lurcher not a pure greyhound

Pie the scruffy lurcher doing what they do best, finishing the last yummy scraps of a decomposing rabbit. Mmmm.

Well I would have thought so if I hadnt seen pictures of Macallan's dad, who was a black collie lurcher! His mum looked like yours, a smaller and slimmer version of Mac.

The litter were so funny, just like in Lady and the Tramp - there were 8 puppies, 4 of them were like Mac (fawn, greyhound type heads) and 4 of them were like the sire (slate grey, blocky collie like heads)
grin.gif

Mac was the idiot puppy who rushed off behind the kennel to investigate then got stuck and screamed his head off until he was retrieved
grin.gif
We had only gone to look at them, to see whether they were the sort of lurchers that I liked (they were EXACTLY the sort of lurchers I like!) but ex-OH insisted on buying one
grin.gif
I was really miffed that Mac turned out to be his dog rather than mine, especially when he insisted on rehoming Mac cos he was too blank blank blank selfish to take Mac with him when he left

Yeah, that's a common feature of all our lurcher pics!! Either looning around or flat out asleep, never anything inbetween
