I'm not big on giving human food to animals but did have an old horse who adored the core of a cauliflower and carrot tops. And obviously the Guinness comes out at Christmas and if I'm trying to persuade something to eat a feed with a strong tasting drug in it.

Bananas are pretty much the one thing that Smudge won't eat.

At our old yard there were a couple of damson trees in one of the paddocks. When they were in season she would spend lots of time snuffling around underneath looking for Damsons and spitting out the stones

My old horse used to have a cup of tea, milk and two sugars in a mug, first thing in the morning. He also finished off anything you drank in a bottle, loved grabbing it and flipping it upside down to get every last drop :)

Current horse would sell his soul for a fruit shortcake biscuit, sis carries them to convince him to stop at the end of xc :D
