Hi
My mare (I've only had her afew month) ate all her hard feed from coming to me, but the past couple of weeks she isn't touching it at all. She usually still eats her haylage but today didn't bother that either. YO thinks she is getting plenty of grass so probably isn't hungry...anybody have any other thoughts?

Mine's the same. I think the grass is so good they're not bothered by anything else. :)

I assume she's not underweight, and looks well? My Mollie has a glossy coat, is a little too "well" :redface3: and probably doesn't need any extra nutrition so I'm not worried. I'm sure she'll be interested in hay and feed once the summer grass is finished. :)

Think a lot of grass must be growing, mine who has a very poor appetite usually has eaten every feed, every day for months, but the last week or so he's been leaving whole feed or a large amount of it & I've changed nothing. The grass is shooting up & I'm hoping that's all it is,also usually when he comes in to be ridden he scoffs loads of hay down while I'm grooming but at the min he's not even having a nibble at his haynet.
