Decided to concentrate on jumping slowly from walk and trot, teach her to slow down after the fences and not get razzed up. set up a nice little course of all sorts of stuff, she never looked at anything, happily jumped 2'9"ish from a walk, really used herself nicely, and was getting the hang of slowing down immediately after the fences after just a few... by the end, i was slowing her with my shoulders and voice more than the reins. huge improvement on Sunday. definitely not jumping in public again till i can keep her calm and rhythmical all the way around though, i think...
oh, and if i need more convincing, today she just lightly tapped one fence, didn't have it down, and cleared the rest by miles. on Sunday, rushing and panicking, she hit quite a few behind. she has a totally different style when she waits and thinks. got to concentrate on that and stay patient!
