i brought her in to lunge her i got the most biggest tantrum ever she was being so skitty rearing so so not her she is the quietiest i have!, she kicked out when i went behind to brush her tail and just missed me by about and inch she really scared me would it be best just to leave her in field or will it be like ive let her win the fight by letting her back out into the field and not lunging her?

Think it must be the weather, our mare went mental when being lungged the other day, she was fine for about 5 minutes then exploded, vertical rears, broncing and galloping around like a lunatic, next day she was totally fine! Personally, if you think it is her season, I would just leave it a couple of days and keep yourself safe!

My mare reared with me once when walking her in from the field last year it was one of the first seasons of the year though and she had got a bit attached to the gelding in the paddock next to her but it was totally uncharacteristic of her. I put her on Equine America Magnitude and I never had a problem with her seasons again. Magnisium is meant to regulate seasons and make them less spooky so I kept her on it all year round.

May not have been totally down to the Magnitude that she was fine but I think it helped chill her out a bit.

Oh dear sounds like me for a couple of days a month... oops!

Is there regumate for humans?
