Well, my mate's dog, a Doberman keeps getting beaten up by other dogs. He's the softest dog you have ever met so doesn't stand up for himself and was suffering an image problem!

My mate asked me to make him a super dog collar with spikes to give him some street cred.

So, here it is,made it yesterday, out of bridle butt leather, lined with soft hide, all handmade and hand stitched. He seems to like it and it suits him, maybe other dogs will leave him be now and the owners will think he's hard! (he's not!)

Excuse the fluff on it here and there, it's off the cloth I wiped it over with.

Here he is, posing!

It's 2 inches wide, wide enough to protect his neck if he gets attacked again.

I think your collar is fantastic...I've tried making a collar or two and my stitching really looks amateur in comparison to yours. Do you do this as a job?
It really suits the dog too...I hope he gets some street cred now!

That is a lovely collar, well done Oz, Diesel & Darcy said to that Dobermann to man up, they are letting the side down, Diesel just pins unruly dogs and nobody picks on Darcy, they are both wonderful with other dogs but will defend themselves if need be.

Thanks.
He's not very old and his owner is so laid back I think it's rubbed off on Max!
He's a lovely dog though but he always manages to wee up my leg if I don't watch him! little git.
My Lurcher (girl and a flirt) loves him and they play all day, my other dogs aren't that keen (both boys) and largely ignore him.
I always wanted a Dobbie when I was in my teens loved them but never got round to getting one.
