I'm so lucky my Mum has the best job, she works for a horse Vets, she's a the large animals office lady and keeps an eye on where the vets are and whats the next appoinment plus taking calls.
But with her job I get a free vet when I want, so don't have to pay for any call outs, last season my horse did a suspensory the vets scanned him for me free. Can get xrays free just have to pay for plates.
And gets money off any drugs I need for my horses.
And always got plenty of bute if needed.
I love it and I hope she never leaves as she saves me a fortune!

Just out of interest which practise does she work for? can PM if prefer. I worked for vet practice in Wilts thankfully moved and had to pay at cost for everything even though I did it myself!! Lucky you.
 
Its very useful to have a parent in the industry
I am very lucky as my father is a vet
