My name is Henry and I am a rabbit-aholic

Hello Jack, Digger, Bluey, Jess and Beau

All are welcome here, even antipodeans wot wot
grin.gif
What are roos, are they bouncier than spaniels (I doubt it!)
confused.gif

Beau I also have a soft mouth which is why I find chasing more fun than catching! We will have to find you a suitably smug icon
tongue.gif

Now Digger I have to disagree about the horse sh!t, I personally feel that this is better used as a breath freshener, after all what red-blooded male (for the human) or female (for me) could possibly resist a snog after a whiff of that?
grin.gif

My name is Flyn and I chase rabbits too but my human finds its hilarious - apparently she can see the rabbit running off full pelt but I have my nose down and have to follow its scent - she says that if only I looked up and watched it I would stand a better chance

Hello, Ruby the rotti here, I would like to join but I fear that you may all laugh at me
frown.gif
, like the Human does when I chase bunnies
frown.gif
.

I'm very good at stalking them
smile.gif
, I can watch them very patiently for ages, then when I make my move I pounce like tigger
laugh.gif
, only as I'm still a baby I haven't quite figured out how to get my legs to move where my brain wants to go
blush.gif
! Often the bunnies run into the hedge and I carry on across the field, but I dont want to go in the hedge, last time I did I picked up a stick for the Human (she likes my slobbery presents
smirk.gif
) but it had brambles on it so I squeaked (the human laughed then too
frown.gif
).

Anyway, I did find a very yummy rotten bunny corpse once
smile.gif
but Human made me leave it and walk away
mad.gif
. What she didnt know (until later when I was ill
smirk.gif
) was that before I gave it to her, I had already had a taste of it!

So even though I am not anywhere near as good as you guys, can I still join please
smile.gif
?

KarynK - I think that is the funniest thing I have ever read!!!!

Fair Dinkum Digga mate - hope you have better luck with the next bit of bush tucker
grin.gif

Please can we join too, Rosie and Sophie here, we are springers, yeh! I (Rosie) once spent 3 days at the vets on a drip after eating most of a long dead bunny, delicious at the time but felt really groggy soon after, wouldn't recommend it. We are both getting on a bit now only really manage to catch the ones with bulgy eyes (slower sort of rabbt we think) but in our day we have chased them onto a railway line (Mum was not amused, said something about only cats having 9 lives ??) and spent a whole day AWOL after chasing a pesky rabbit and getting lost in the woods, Mum spent all day out on her horse looking for us but we stayed under cover til 7pm, she was so pleased to see us we got extra rations that evening. Anyways, we think an RA club is a great idea, count us in.

That would be Kangaroos to you poms, they are good chasing but they have holes they jump in and unlike bunnies the owner of that hole is mean and very nasty and yes probably a bit bouncier than a spaniel!!!

Chased another couple of Bunnies tonight, getting into this habit, but they are a bit faster than a cow, so I have been rounding up some partridge instead!

Believe me it was easy to write when you live with these two blokes! It's easy to see them in a cork hat proping up the bar somewhere in Aus with a cold Laager, betting on a couple of flies crawling up a wall, any Shelia's nightmare!!!

Gday m’names Bluey, beg yours but Im the handsome one! and if that b*ggerlugs is a Rabbit- aholic I’m a Dunny Budgie (that’s a blue Ar*sed fly to you pommies!) . The real hunter round here is me, anything small that moves it’s my tucker, providing it tastes good, doesn’t run too far or fast and has no feathers, cant be bothered with them.

Anyway just thought I’d share this with you, me the Shelia and him arrive home late last night after working hard up with the horses, well we were he was in his billabong (the huge water trough she got at the farm sale). He dropped his ball in there and spent all his time diving trying to find it when he could have been hunting wabbits!

Anyway she opened the front porch door and I was in there (it was way past tucker time and she had promised me chicken) and there it was, REAL celebrity bush tucker a frog! I went for it but the stupid Baa*tard got in m’way and the frog jumped straight onto the Sheila’s chest, what a din, she thought it was a mouse!
After she calms down and braves coming back into the porch she brushed the bl**dy idiots paw scared him senseless and he leapt straight into the air off all fours, got so bl**dy high he almost landed on the freezer, set the Shiela off yabbering AGAIN, what a dag (sheeps bum fluff), I’m sure he has a few Kangaroos loose in the top paddock, he just cant be a cattle dog!

Here’s a picture of me doing my impression of a salty! You should never smile at one!

Good morning everyone,

We are Hugo, Violet, Twiglet, Flora, Taggie and Teazle and we are ALL rabbit-aholics.

We are lucky because our mums and dads have talked to the owners of the best rabbit fields and we have permission to catch as many rabbits as we can whenever we like. Apparently the owners don't like the rabbits eating all their crops or something?

This is the best time of year because there are lots of baby rabbits who are easy to catch and also we can tear them apart and each have a mouthful to eat in about 30 seconds. Then its off to find another one YUM YUM

Our mums and dads get strangely upset if we chase after the wierd big rabbits with the long ears though - we can't understand this because they are MUCH more fun as they run faster and don't just hide in the hedgerows.

Sometimes we also get told off for chasing deer but seeing as how we hardly EVER manage to catch one of those, we dont' take any notice of all the frantic shouting and whistle blowing. Catching deer is very exciting but its annoying because you can't eat a whole one all at once and the mean old humans wont' take it home with them.

We never chase chickens or cats though because some of our best friends are cats and we like to snuggle up with them in bed. There are chickens in our garden and it is our job to PROTECT them from foxes and badgers (badgers are scarey, they are why Violet only has half an ear on one side) - we would never hunt chickens.

Can we join your group - or are we too bloodthirsty?
