For anyone who remembers my recent posts at the end of my tether about my horse that can be a real pig to load...

When it really mattered he pulled it out of the bag today

Had a real fight yesterday going to and from my lesson but it seems as though yesterday's battle was actually a little victory. Loaded first time, on way out and on way home, to today's dressage. Clever pony! It did mean I was about an hour earlier than I needed to be as I'd left so long for loading (in case!) but better that than being late!

Hopefully we are finally getting somewhere with it all. I have so far worked out that I need to have the trailer parked so that there is a solid wall along one side (can't run out the side!) and something not far from the back so that he can't run backwards. Have also done some more work on basic pressure/release so that he realises that as soon as he comes forwards, the pressure is released.

Oh, and we qualified for Trailblazer's 2nd round (Prelim) this morning
