Tank has returned

Tank is a 15hh black Irish thug. He is my boss's hunt horse and is just downright lethal! When he arrived last year from Ireland I had to make sure he was safe before my boss got on him... we had an interesting ride, which involved reversing through several hedges and ditches, waving our front legs at motorists and running backwards through a few ploughed fields.

I then got given the job of hunting him for the first time, which involved much of the above plus some quite handy back leg action

Well today he returned after a summer at grass. He looked fat, lazy and full of grass, not too much of a challenge I thought, but just in case he went on the walker before I got on

Looks can be deceiving

Along with our old habits we seem to have discovered how to buck, and not just little annoying ones, full blown throw you on the tarmac type ones

Que one very interesting hack!

My days have just gotten more interesting

And just in case anyone is worried, he regularly has his back teeth and saddle checked and has never had a problem

Reminds me of happy times years ago, mind, nowhere near the traffic then. I do sympathise, things like that are a pain in the butt, literally sometimes.
Good luck and kill him before he kills you!

OMG I don't think you do uninteresting days...I'd feel worried watching you ride most of your rides and I certainly would never have the nerve to get on them. Good job your seat always looks a secure one in your pics! Good luck with the Tank.
