A whippet. She's nine weeks Old, pedigree.

I can't wait for the fun to begin! Any suggestions. Never had a whippet before

I really like whippets after my friend bought one, her names twiggy which I think is perfect for a dog like that. Whats her name?

she's adorable OP. id love a whippet actually. Apparently they have 2 speeds. asleep and flat out.
that about sums me up so i thought the breed would suit me.

as opposed to my rescued border collie who is ALWAYS on! ;)
 
I have a 2YO whippet and she is wondeful! And the best hot water bottle I have ever had!!
Mine is a wimp though, she loves me and my family and my house mates at uni, but is pretty reserved with strangers!
More photos please!!
 
She's lovely, but please go and buy some toe nail clippers, her claws are really long and they need the ends snipping off.

Good luck with her, I once had 4 whippets in one go, which was a bit much, but now I have two, they are the best dogs in the world !
 
Gorgeous! I am a total convert and adore mine who is now a year old. Quite naughty - alot of chewing - but so adorable I can barely tell her off! Enjoy! Do get some good coats for the winter - I have one like a thermatex and a waterproof one. She was happier to go out in the garden when she was little with one on. And, yes, you will have to clip her nails regularly - if you are not sure about doing it ask your vet to show you. They can be quite fussy eaters. Mine has tinned meat and Arden Grange which she seems to love.
