Well, we got back last night and she settled very quickly into her new stable. She went out at 8 this morning and then I let her have a play in the school before she went back in stable...first time she has seen a school bless her.

She turns 4 in April and is a sweetheart. Very babyish and bolshy to handle as she has had nothing done but fussing, but I can easily pick up all feet and do anything with her in the stable.

She will get some time to settle in and then I will be videoing her progress.

Say hello to Molly...

Hello Molly.
She is lovely and yes looks a feisty one ! Lots of fun to be had with her this spring so looking forward to seeing your progress. Once the weather sorts itself out I will be starting on my 4 yo so we can compare notes !

you kept that quiet lol:eek: she's lovely:D

Haha...indeed I did. Shame you moved or you'd be able to see her everyday...do pop along though any time. I am there most days from about half seven in the morning until lunchtime, and back late afternoon.

She is 15.3hh at the moment and I think she will probably make 16.1hh. She has very good bloodlines and her movement is incredible...she was a bit anxious and tense in the school today, but I can forgive her that :-)

She looks so huge because there is a 1ft step up into the arena, lol.

The lady at the gate is the yard owner. I told her to expect bolshyness but I think she was still a little shocked, lol.

Molly is very very sweet in the stable, gives lovely kisses and loves the fuss. She just now needs to learn everything else so there is a lovely sign on her door telling people not to bother her unless I am there and with them. We have a great yard, but she is totally unspoiled and so I don't want her influenced by inexperienced hands :-)

We shall indeed have to compare notes as we start them. I tried to figure it out and I think, unless I am forgetting any, she will be the 100th horse I have started and trained :-)

Found it - she looks lovely. YO didn't hang about at the gate did she :D

Yard owner is brilliant. She waved her arms at Molly as that is what she does with her daughters mare...but of course Molly did baby rears and so she thought she would be better off away from the gate so as not to give Molly something to go there for, lol.

I am the only person on the yard with experience of unstarted youngsters, so everyone is being very good and giving her space and and just following my lead. I am very lucky to have found such a great yard.

Everyone is welcome in Molly's stable (when I am there) as she is great in the stable...but she is such a baby in all other ways, everyone knows to leave all of that to me.

She is a proper feisty little thing bless her. She's a quick learner though :-)
