My new coloured horsey

**sits on hands**

So, if you get the speyshul saddle, does that turn him from the red horse in the diagram to the green one? Cause he looks awfully like the red one.

I'm only trying to be straight with you.

Xactly - the wonders of Parelli, it's fabulous and much maligned on this forum but it could turn this horse around.

He's 17.2 so a big lad

[/ QUOTE ]

But only 15.2 in the middle! So quite easy to get on

Quite and as I am only 4'10 it's a good job!

Dizz is 16.3hh... wondering if I'll have to teach her to squat

Well, either that or keep a shovel strapped to the saddle at all times to dig a trench to make her stand in

I have, as it happens, quite a few all by the same stallion (well one of a possible two stallions anyway) and a variety of mares.... and as it happens I will have some smaller ones next year as I have just added some dartmoor hill ponies to the herd. The coloureds are more expensive obviously but I have some very similar bays and chestnuts if you prefer.....

Hi Laura, I'd be very interested if you breed a chestnut that is 16.2 in front and 13.2 behind as I have a tendency to tip forward and one like this would balance me out.

I have something matching exactly that description- would suit adult or child, with lovely uphill paces and showing excellent potential over jumps, just needs to be taught to pick up from behind a bit more- slightly green (mostly just grass stains should come out with a good wash) hence bargain price of £8000

Thats fine, I have some weighted boots to help him pick up behind so shouldn't be any problems there. As for the washing part, again this shouldn't be an issue as I believe in stabling 24/7 and wearing rugs with hoods all year round. Does this home sound suitable?
Also, I think £8000 is a bit steep in these credit crunch times, would you accept £7995?

What I really need is one that is 15.2 on the left side and 16.2 the right side. Makes it easier to mount and makes up for my dropped hip and slightly longer leg anyone got one of these??

I would like to show him - what class do you think he could do?

[/ QUOTE ]

I'm a bit stuck for ideas really - when I look at him I think "no class"!!

No, but I think I may have the stirrup leathers to go with it!!

lol those would be great for the longer leg, but they don't help with the dropped hip

Ah -what you need there is a saddle with a broken tree (I've probably got one of those lying around somewhere too!!)
