This week she has come on leaps and bounds. She has been incredibly good and we made the ultimate step today of introducting her saddle!
I have been taking pics as I go on my phone of little steps we make so I can look back at the progress she made and also her own growing and filling out as she is growing like a weed! (measured just under 15.1hh in front and nearly 15.2hh behind!)
So a reminder of what she looked like 2 weeks ago when I first got her:

And a few trotting pics:

So first step bitting, obviously horrified by this:

Then introducing her bridle, boots and roller when lunging (just lunging for 5- 10 mins mostly in walk and focusing on transitions and listening to verbal aids) she went crazy at this as you can see in the pics:

Wild beast is even wild in the field:

second day lunging with stuff on again:

starting to fill out a tad behind now:

And finally today we introduced a saddle!

Did walk and trot on the lunge again in the saddle and she was fab! acted like it wasnt even there! and then at the end I leant completely over her in the saddle and she just stood there again!
Love my new ponio :D

What are you doing to that poor horse?! She looks terrible...you've obviously traumatised her for life and she's going to hate you forever.

:D:D:D

So you should send her straight over to me! :p

She's lovely (tho I'm biased as mine is from same stud). I'm glad she's proving easy too. I took my 19 month old daughter to see Quartz whilst he was lying down today & he lay there like a dog enjoying the fuss & attention! :)

I think your over doing it look at how stressed she is, so you should send her to me :p

Seriously tho she is very nice & I look forward to seeing more of her progress :)

Bridle is sabre cordoba but with wolds exclusive bling browband and drop made to measure at s Milner and son. Although she won't be wearing a drop, its my 5 year olds bridle and thought I would pop it on her to see if it fits.

It's the drop I like - a big chunky one, which are hard to find!
