Thought I'd share my new dog with you all...
She's called Jess, 14 month old, very small JRT. She was being rehomed because the owners Akita kept trying to eat her! And I'm guessing the Pitbull in the kitchen probably did too! They were very irresponsible owners and bragged about how she could be bred from 'to make some money' and she was a good ratting dog. They were tormeting her, getting her to bite and growl at them (they called it 'playing'!!) I couldn't get her out of the door quick enough! I gave £50 for her and she is absolutley brilliant!
Apart from her disliking to anything that moves (i.e. motorbikes, chickens, rabbits, dogs....), she growls and snaps a lot but I'm guessing that was down to her bad upbringing
She seems very content now, after spending the night with me
On the other hand, the owner has text me today saying he has another for sale. A 'tiny' 10 month old male. I expect these sort of people will just keep on breeding these poor dogs as long as there are people to sell them to! Such a shame.
