Meet Molly. She's a 14.3hh, 14yo cob.
After struggling with my confidence with my loan horse, I have got Molly, had her a week and already my confidence is sky high! She's an absolute star. She will stand all day to be groomed and fussed, almost falling asleep, but as soon as you get on she comes alive and she's off. With a very fast walk and trot for a small hairy one! Just what I need. Something safe and reliable but with that extra top gear for those lovely stubble field moments in autumn!

Excuse her feet, they were desperately in need of a trim!

Bring on the summer!!

Ellies_mum2 - Your filly is gorgeous! She does look like a little Molly! Well if she does grow up like my Mols, you'll be the second luckiest person on the planet!!
She seems to be so perfect I keep wondering what germlins are going to crawl out of the woodword, so to speak!! She is just the BEST!

She's not so hairy now! Hope you aren't planning on trimming those feathers, they look amazing! Maybe a bit of a nightmare to keep clean in the winter though

The feathers are definately staying for the summer but come winter it might be a different story! She'd look so different clipped and hogged but I'd be terrified of hating it and wanting to feathers back and them taking years to grow!

Bella wasn't handled a great deal until I got hold of her

but she is turning out to be a quick learner.

Looking forward to seeing how she turns out but her feathers will be staying

Use mane and tail conditioner on her feathers in the winter- it helps the mud slide off!

She is just my type of horse. Good luck with her!

Thanks for the tip! Sounds like a good idea.
You'll all be sick of my "how do i keep these feathers clean" posts come winter!

She is just my type too!
And don't worry I'm going to have so much fun. I've waited 28 years for my very own horse and now she's here, and she's perfect! Woohoo!

She's lovely. I have 16 year old version of her, but of the gelding type. He's hogged and clipped and he looks so smart. Go on, trim her up, she is gorgeous.

Have loads of fun with her. Cobs really do rock!

Oooh I love her. I am looking for a cob at the minute to gain more confidence and do loads of stuff with. Good luck with your Molly, she sounds perfect.
