my new horse is acting crazy!

all im going to say on this matter is there is a wide ammount of inexperienced people out there who should not own horses and im afraid you are one of them.
Basic equine knowledge provides you with common sense such as

1. a horse needs companionship,they are herd animals its basic logic really.

2.If your unsure of basic feeding guidlines etc your really not experienced enough to own a horse.

3.Again basic knowledge cuts in and you would get a full MOT done on a horse before buying.


Im afraid you have fallen into the trap of feeling your riding standard is up to that of actually owning a horse.
I dont see why people do not learn at a riding school basic horse care enough to know how to feed and look after a horse correctly under supervision.As someone has been an instructor this just backs up my view that every person wishing to purchase a horse MUST HAVE a cert in riding,horse care,stable managment and be able to deal with minor ailments etc.
I wish you luck if you decide to keep this horse but i feel very bad for both of you right now more so the horse as she cant speak up for herself.

I read the 1st page and no way was i trauling through the whole thread.

As long as this horse gets the right kind of life it needs thats the main thing.

By not reading the whole post you have missed valuable comments.
Jordan has been helped by other HHO users and one even visited him.
The person that visited him said that the horse wants for nothing and is looked after like royalty - so dont worry about the horse - it would appear she is perfectly fine.

I for one would rather novice owners asked for help - but they are not going to continue to do so with comments like yours.

I thought this post had been put to bed?
