My new horse just!...

Jumped out of the field!
I bought him and the 2 shetlands in last night, so have just been down to turn them out, put him out first, went back to get shets and i heard a thundering of hooves going down the road! Yes it was Jimmy, he jumped out of the field 4ft fence, not a scar on him! Needless to say i got hold of him and he didn't go far! Bloody ex hurdler! I haven't started jumping him yet, just concentrating on re schooling. At least i know he will jump when i am ready! Horses eh

My new horse seems so to do this on a regular basis (by this I mean every night or even 2-3 times a day!!!) - luckily he just jumps into other turnout fields down the yard but he also sometimes does it to follow other liveries leaving the field - he obviously wants to come too! He is only 4 and soooooo relaxed we couldnt believe it at first and thought someone was moving him around!!!!!
