Thank you all sooo much, your lovely comments made me all tingly and happy and very proud of my boy - I am indeed so very lucky.

For those that asked he is 16.3 thoroughbred x possibly with some shire / irish draught, he is 8yrs and although his schooling is a bit rusty he is a loveable gentle man.

I think it is wonderful when you get your first horse later in life. It really makes you appreciate it more. I was 39 when I got Ellie and I am the proudest mummy ever!
