My new mare! Everyone say hi to Darcey!

After much back and forward and a bit of stress my new loan mare Darcey came home on Thursday night! She's a 13yr old WBxID and a bit feisty but is a very experienced showjumper and will hopefully get me back to jumping again! She seems fairly settled so far if a little "looky" but I think that's understandable! Tommy thinks she's lovely but she tried to eat him! Think it will be a while before she talks to him!
I'm just so excited! I can't wait to get out and about with
her! And I've already fallen for her funny little noises. I've never met such a vocal horse, she's constantly chatting away!

She is lovely. Be nice to see the pics once you have her muscled up a bit. I love chatty horses. You can't beat a chestnut when the sun shines on it, i love them. Good luck with her. x

Awww thanks guys! I think she's gorgeous too! Blood_magik I think it'll be a few months before we go anywhere! I need to persuade her that fly bucking every second stride with excitement is just not going to help her get at the jumps any quicker!
