mine bit me this morning - shes just opinionated 24/7 (not at all nastily just cheeky) - but if yours is being nasty then yes definately look into suppliments
If she's coming into season regular as clockwork each month and then going out of season for the normal time, then she's probably just a mare that cycles all year round, we have one on our yard. BUT if she's in season seemingly constantly then yes I would definately get this looked into, my friend has this problem and the mare is undergoing tests with some possible bad diagnosis's
Hi, mine used to come into season pretty much every month, it didn't affect her temperament, she was fine to handle and ride, and then I read somewhere that mares can come into season every 3 weeks so I didn't worry too much about it.
However, after I sold her, I was told that her temperament changed and she became 'dangerous'. The lady tried to sue me so I am not sure of the truth of what happened next but someone said she had a cyst on her ovary that just took a small operation to get removed and then she was fine again. That is a very short version of a very complicated story! Anyway, I know she is fine now, just not sure of what happened in between! And I don't know how often she comes into season now. Sorry, just reading this back I realise I have not been much use!!!
