Hi,
Thought I would show you guys my new pony for the winter as my big orange horse is out of action for winter to maybe forever
And my other horses are either babies, pregnant or too loony to ride!
She is only a project and is very very very thin. She has run on the flat twice and was very slow! That was 4 months ago and has done nothing apart from hack and a bit of little jumping since.
I tried her last Friday which was lovely. She has no idea about anything!! This was her then
After we went to the beach and had a lovely canter and gallop and went in the sea which was lovely. She was so good, esp for a 4 year old although Im sure that will change when shes a bit fatter!!
She flew through the vetting on Monday and we went on a epic journey to get her. Got her home, she settled really well (unlike the Dottie one who was cantering round her stable so excited with her new neighbour!!)
Had a ride on her today. She was fab. A bit tricky to get on but once on fine and a bit fidgety but thats fine we can work on that. Was a gem in the arena esp for first go!! Wasnt scared by the goats or the trucks and was generally very quiet to ride. Although was a big change to the orange one who was learning tempy changes just before going wrong, she cant even walk in a straight line yet!!!
Please excuse my scutty outfit, I hadnt planned to ride but then had a spare hour!!!
also excuse the standing out of the saddle, shes very light so dont want her to carry my big bum too long!!!!
And a awfull one to show how skinny she is and her bad feet so when shes all fat and with lovelied up feet I can be
What do you think??
