Aww Miles! What a sweetheart! I will look forward to reading about his progress. Sorry if I have missed elsewhere in the thread but how old is he?
Even if you don't pay for the legal stuff it's very expensive to run a course of treatment without knowing you actually need to spend that money.
I've also known horses that needed more than one course to be completely clear and that needs scoping to know.

He looks lovely. I’m sure he’ll be grand but doesn’t @ycbm say aloe Vera is good for ulcers? That might not do any harm.
Miles is a great name..and he is only a baby..he ll grow into himself and look different again when muscled.
Looks like he’s enjoyed his breakfastJust need to share this as his little face is hilarious.
Little guy is doing great, started doing some ground work inc. poles with him and introduced a bridle which was a complete non drama. He's a bit of a bugger with his feet and me asking him to move out of my space, touched his side and asked him to move over last night and he tried to double barrel me! Lots of work to be done with that. However he's very willing to please and still very foal like in that if he's scared he'll hide behind me. He's insecure but extremely curious!
He's looking loads better already! I still can't get over how much he managed to drop on his way over to you.
He looks much better. Handsome boy.The problem with having one dope on a rope and one very raw youngster is you forget who you're dealing with! I won't be putting cream on his sheath again...
Miles's yard is extremely quiet and I'm usually on my own there, so it's been difficult to do anything with him, as his go-to at the mo is to plant and refuse to move. What I need is someone behind me with a bag on a stick to tickle him up the arse!
Will need to have a serious think about what to do logistically when it comes to backing him if I still have him by then - it's going to be way longer than what I thought as I just don't feel good about doing it while he's still so weak.
He also has lice which is fun I think I'd rather stick pins in my eyes than have to Deosect his entire body again...
On a more positive note, he's enjoying having company and has put on some more weight.
