Sadly not a project horse

Im a bit of a clothes making obsessive I love buying things & altering them & making things

I have decided my new project is a show jacket!! Im slightly daunted as the material is quite expensive so if I screw up I will kick myself but I have seen some gorgeous tweed which is very different but not so I will stick out like a sore thumb & be told its not correct

How about making a mock up jacket out of cheaper material before going ahead with the expensive material

This would allow for any 'mistakes' then when you are happy make the real deal?

Sounds exciting. I purchased a second hand sewing machine on ebay last year, its a lovely machine, I am yet to use it but would love to alter and make things, and I intend to do so once I have finished the decorating, which is a way off but then I can sit down and hopefully make great stuff
