Some pesky sheep escaped into our fields today (hence the stretched lower tape in areas, grrr) so Lexi felt oblidged to patrol the area (once they were safely back in their own field of course!).

So here she is at just over 3 months, she looks really 'bloodie' at the moment and i can see why the stallions progeny are going on to event.

What do you think?

Gosh she's huge!!!! and beautiful!
I must try and get some of Milo, he is going grey now so looking a bit moth eared.
He has quite the boldest personality of any foal I have ever bred, scared of nothing.
I agree re the eventing, with bold natures like that they have to be ideal.

Same with lexi, she is so independant too, it's quite unusual. Today I seperated her from her dam, only for a short time but she honestly didn't even look up! She's always led in first, and will walk past anything. She is lovely though and a dream to handle, so hopefully she will end up a nice horse.

You must take some of Milo as he always looked bigger than her! In the last 2 weeks she's suddenly matured a bit, I think they do at 3-4 months, i'd love to see him now. I reckon she is about 13.1hh, so much smaller than my last foal, who was admittedly a monster!

WOW she us HUGE!!!! Looking good!!! What name did you decide on for her show name in the end????

I think I recognise your helper! Does she go to college one day a week??

ER, thanks! I decided on O La La as I think it suits her show-off personality, so HH wins that one! Thanks for the comments, she's certainly large but anything is small compared to Indie!

I haven't seen any recent ones, I hardly get time to venture on here anymore (too many horses!!) but I saw the just born ones and she looked rather large then! You'll have to pm me a link, I'd love to see her! How is Forest getting on now? Taking the world by storm no doubt, he was always so special.

What a lovely thing to say AmyMay, thank you! Using an unknown stallion was a risk on a maiden, but I've seen his very limited progeny and they have some amazingly impressive results. Now I am glad I did!

JH58 - Thanks! Tam is growing into a lovely little man!! Am currently trying to work out if I can afford to hang onto him!!! You should be thrilled with baby and that name definitely suits!
