... this morning he said he was going to go for a run today - not that unusual really, except that he wanted to run from my parents (where the stables are) back to our house. Off road.

it's 15 miles by the main road, its about 18 if you use the little lanes, and according to his GPS/heart rate monitor thingymabob it's 20.2 miles over the tops of the moors and down the other side.

took him 3 hours 18 minutes.

weird weird man.

Blimey, there'll be no jiggy jiggy in your house tonight, he just won't have the energy :o ...... but there again :D

Haha :p

But bonkers. Utterly.

Had a slightly similar chat with bosses father yesterday actually. We're by Lynham and there's one road which is popular with runners.....BUT for a voluntary pastime....why do most always look so glum?!

Lol. Me and running just don't get on.

beleive me - that's not weird - my bro-in-law is weird. he runs 25 miles every morning! He runs those big long races that are 100miles within 24 hours. He eats nothing but vitamin pills etc - never a 'proper' meal. Your OH is seriously NOT weird campared to my b-i-l.

In that case.... 'weird' is not enough, it has to be 'absolutely blinking barking mad' :D :D :D

got it in one MsM - ok, so 2, but YKWIM

I've always wondered the same!!
I used to do what I considered to be 'a lot' of running but clearly it was only an amble or two. It doesn't agree with my knees or my stupid feet now, so I just don't any more.

ok your BIL wins... but I maintain that OH is pretty odd!

we're off to Alton towers tomorrow, and OH is on about cycling the 25miles into his office on Monday and home at the end of the day (obviously, cos I'm sure as 'eck not putting sweaty bicycle in my car if I have to pick him up!
