My OH would like to ride in...

For his first jumping lesson with a new female instructor.

Thoughts?

Whatever he's comfortable in really. I don't like to discourage my OH when he shows an interest in riding so usually leave his attire up to him.
Are the combats thick enough to withstand a fall? Wouldn't want any embarrassing mishaps

It's his knickers that are the important thing here!

My OH went for a few lessons a couple of years ago, and didn't think about knickers, but kept having to stop during the lesson.....

I asked him after what the problem was, and he replied..

'...I couldn't very well tell the woman me b*lls kept getting squashed, could I?? I forgot to put me riding knickers on!'..

CheeryP - this will be for a lesson on the horse he stole from me... maybe I should have been /more/ discouraging?!?

Both - I've already suggested he use his 'safety pants' for stretching the jumping (landing!) skills ;-)
