it was my 30th bday last month and I got 4 very similar ponies courtesy of a good friend

omg, are you setting up a rescue farm? They have so many issues, I don't know where to start, but immediately take them off the icing sugar diet, which is even worse than molasses aka moglo.
Take them to a bare field, or better still your front garden [passers by will throw pound coins in their water bucket]. Feed one handful of Fast Fibre per week, with lo salt.
