Am in a state of absolute flutter and forgetfulness- am so excited that my pony can go out and be a horse again!
Sorry for the random positive post but I moved to a new yard in September and since then he has practically been in the whole time (Dec to now) The vet and farrier coordinated today and watched him trot up (maaaajor explosion) and lunge (I was told to get a hat and gloves before I was allowed to lunge the ferocious 4 hooved flying machine) then Vet said go for it, before I get killed walking him out daily.
He can go in a smallish field for a month, then he can be turned away and even....even.....have all of his shoes off!! Including his horrible special needs orthopedic wedges that have minged his heels up!!
Although I dont expect anyone to care its just a huge relief off my shoulders to have a decision and a new time scale to work on, Prittstick may be even more pony-less but its for the good of him-not me.
