My poor daughter

I'm so sorry to hear this, what a tragic story.
I feel your pain as had to have my poor 4yr old PTS two months ago, it's a horrible thing for one to have to go through.
Thoughts are with your daughter, and you ofcourse.

So sorry for you & your daughter. I wouldn't read to deeply into wanting another so soon, kids deal with things differently. I deal with loss by keeping stupidly busy & avoiding thinking about it for at least the first few weeks, sometimes longer, doing things like cleaning the oven at 2am or painting at 7am, but children often need the replacement to keep them occupied. It doesn't mean they're over the loss, she could still have periods of crying at times. But the new pony will stop it being crying all the time. Good luck with your search.

So sorry for your loss, he sounds like a super little lad. Hugs for both you and your daughter. If it were me I'd start looking for another pony for her but only if and when she feels ready to.

thanks again for all the lovely replies, wish there was a like button so i could like individual posts, but failing that, i'm thanking everyone for there lovely posts. means the world to me. I lost my own horse, nearly 3 years ago, and i still cry for him at times. havnt done a whole pile of riding since. he was my confidence giver. thankfully, shauna is not like me and is confident on more or less any pony. (she takes after her dad, he hunts hounds). I'm going to take it slowly with getting a new pony, i need the right pony, and i'm just hoping popeye will guide us. xxxxxxx
