My poor doggy!

..she always comes to the horses with me when I go to put up the night haynets and generally check the horse over....

We got back and she didn't seem too happy, couldn't put my finger on it....so gave her a good check over and she had a MAHOOSIVE thorn stuck in the side of her face, quite flush! Soooooo genty removed it and sloshed some water to clean it with a little dettol, and put some cream on it....

Who knows how the heck she picked that up, no doubt sticking her nose in where it wasn't wanted!

Ouch! I am constantly removing spiky things and sticky things from the pupster. He has a ridiculour fluffy coat so everything gets stuck in it rather than in him, thankfully!!!!

Poor dog, its was probabley in the hay, had one go under my nail one day whilst filling hay nets.

My spaniel gets covered in thorns/gorse whatever after a day out on the shoot but you are a better owner than me - I've never bothered to disinfect

Here she in, inbetween my sisters 7 month lab (Daisy, and she is HUGE!) and Thomas (mixed parentage!) on the seat.....he's an old boy..my sis-in-laws dog, and he HATES Daisy!

I got it all out, she's back to her crazy self again now!

She comes to stay and Sydney, my ACD, who is incidentally a gurl...but you weren't to know that....hates Daisy staying!

Daisy likes to sit at your feet, and I mean ON your feet, and Syd is NEVER impressed....! Daisy also steals her toys, and has started to shove her off the couch...!

Syd, who has always had a bit of a rep for 'lookin' 'ard!' seems to have lost some of her credibility!
