My poor old girl went literally head over heels on the ice yesterday when M was taking her out for a wee dander and the result has been a cut lip and sprained leg

I went to visit her today and she was so sore she didn't even get up to see me (normally she goes crazy) so I went to her and gave her a cuddle (and a sausage to eat

) ALthough she still managed to roll over for a tummy rub

So can she please have some get well vibes? I love this old girl so much but recently you can really see her age starting to take its toll and it's breaking my heart as it's just like Windsor all over again

Get well soon {{{Vibes}}} to Tina.

Sympathy with seeing that she is getting old and knowing what is awaiting. It has broken my heart too but I tried (not saying that I always succeeded) to think positive and see it as a privilege when my dogs have reached that stage. When I didn't succeed I wanted to stop time...

As my mother says, let's say dogs had an average lifespan of 50 years but when you're in your fifties, your dog dies, would you then dare to buy a new one? Because of that they only have an average lifespan of 10 to 15 years, we can continue to be dog owners up until late in our life.

But it doesn't help when you want to keep the dog you have... Again, I hope she gets well soon.

Loads of vibes to Tina. Buffy has struggled a bit on the icy ground, as she has had a few spine problems I have been very worried about her slipping. Hope Tina is soon feeling less sore.
